Objective: To generate
response from print ads and direct mail to fill a free seminar
on the value of savings plans for college funding.

Strategic Overview: Ruben's
company was offering free "college funding" seminars as
a strategy to meet and educate attendees to college savings plans
available to them with the goal being that they ultimately invest
in one of Money Concepts offerings. The challenges were that while
the response from the print ads was adequate, the prospective clients
required significantly more information before they were ready to
sign up for the seminar. Since most of the information was redundant,
it was time consuming for Money Concepts. An additional challenge
was that actual attendance was only about 50% of the registered
attendance.
Action: Money Concepts installed
a Powerline system initially to provide automatic information
to the seminar prospects. What Money Concepts discovered was that
by offering their seminar information on a "pressure free"
hotline that their ad response increased over 400% while saving
time due to the prospect receiving the seminar details automatically
and in real time.
Money Concepts still had the challenge
that actual attendance was only about 50% of the registered attendance.
Through question and answer sessions at the seminars, Money Concepts
concluded that many prospects simply forgot about the seminars date.
Money Concepts employed the Arch services of automatic
mail follow up and voice
messaging to the remind people the dates of the seminar. This
increased their actual attendance over 65%.
