Ask Arch

Does a caller have to dial an extension before they are given the option of transferring directly to me?

No, as soon as you have established your zero-transfer number, a caller can directly connect to you at any time by pressing “0”.

Will my older extensions be automatically deleted if they don’t receive calls or are not updated?

We save your recordings for a maximum of 90 days from either the last access to the extension by a caller or the last time you used your password to log into the web portal or phone menus. So, as long as you login to the portal or phone menu once every 90 days, your extensions will be saved. You can read our complete policy here.

Can I see how many callers one of my individual extensions has received over a certain period of time?

You certainly can. Log in to the Customer Portal and go the Powerline tab, where you should click on the Powerline Reports link. When you choose Output Formatting, you can select Primary Subtotals and sort by extension (or mailbox or source digit). Running a report in this manner will allow you to group your data and see how many calls each extension (or mailbox or ad source) has generated.
