| Frequently Asked Questions - Home Affordability
Line
Do I need
to configure a phone number for the "zero transfer"
on my HAL line?
Yes. When the caller reaches question #33 the system will
give them the option to press '0', to speak to a loan officer
immediately. This feature will route the caller to the phone
number you have configured in the zero transfer feature.
How will I be notified when someone is accessing my Hal line?
If you have configured the pager notification feature on your
HAL line the system will then send a page to your pager that
begins with the digit '6' followed by the 10-digit phone number
that the caller is calling from. This page is sent to your
pager when the caller has completed the survey (EXAMPLE: 6-512-555-212-2008).
Can more than one pager be notified of calls made into my
HAL Line?
Yes. Arch does offer this service at no additional cost to
you. You will need to contact an Arch representative to make
this request.
Can I change the formula that
is used for my Home Affordability Line?
The formula itself can not be changed. However, there are
certain values used in the formula that you may change. These
values and their current settings are Interest Rate (updated
weekly based on Fannie Mae rates); Monthly Taxes and Insurance
(.25% of Sales Price); Closing Costs (5% of Sales Price);
and Debt Ratios (28% / 36%). You may change the interest rate
using the "Configured Custom Interest Rate" procedure
in your Quickstart Guide but will need to contact your Arch
representative to change any of the other items.
Can I re-record any of the current
question "stock" prompts that already have been
prerecorded on the Home Affordability Line?
Yes. The Home Affordability line allows you to record your
own voice over any of the standard recorded questions. You
must remember to maintain the integrity of the question.
How do I retrieve my messages
on my Home Affordability Line?
First, request a call report of your new calls so that you
have the response number that's given to each call. The system
will prompt you for a response number when retrieving these
messages. Once you have requested the fax, follow the instructions
for Retrieving Recorded Responses in your Quickstart Guide.
Do I need to record a Master
greeting for the HAL line?
Only if your HAL line has been set up as a standalone system.
If you requested the HAL system be added to your Powerline
IVR system, then it is not necessary for you to record a Master
greeting for the HAL line. Your callers will hear the Master
greeting you have already set up on your Powerline IVR system.
Is there a way that I can track
my advertising when advertising the HAL line on my IVR system?
Yes. You can request that the HAL line be set up as a listing
on your Powerline system. This procedure will allow you to
add a source digit to the listing you designate as the HAL
line. A source digit can only be used if the HAL line has
been set up as a listing number on your IVR system. A source
digit can't be used if the HAL line on your system is accessible
as prompt "12".
Can I request my Hal line be set up as a listing if it's currently
set up as prompt "12"?
Yes, simply by contacting our customer support department
or your Arch Sales Representative to request these changes
be made to your system.
