Home Affordability Line Instructions

QUICK-START GUIDE
This easy Quick-Start guide is all you
need to perform your system setup however it is strongly recommended
that you review all materials provided by Arch Telecom prior
to using the system.
All operations are performed from
the Main Menu
- 1. Dial your 800 #
- 2. Press * (star) when you hear the
greeting
- 3. Enter the initial default password
provided on your welcome letter
- 4. You are now in the Main MenU

You may back up one Menu level by pressing * or press ** to return
to the Main Menu
There are three
possible configurations of the Home Affordability Line (HAL):
- q HAL set up as its own mailbox with an extension
off of a Powerline (the most common)
- q HAL set up as an option 12 within each extension
on a Powerline
- q HAL set up as a Standalone system with its
own 800 number
If you have a Stand Alone system you must record
an Initial Greeting that the caller will hear before accessing the
survey. If your system is configured with your Powerline 800 number,
no additional Greeting is necessary.
Callers to a HAL that is set up as an extension
must enter that extension number (for example ext. 800) to access
the survey. Callers to a system set up with an Option 12 can press
12 at the master greeting or after any recorded extension (listing
code). Stand Alone HAL systems will ring directly into the HAL survey.
Greeting Set Up
Only users who have Stand Alone systems need
to record Initial Greetings.
From the Main Menu
- 1. Press 9 - Personal Options
- 2. Press 1 - Greetings
Zero Transfer Set Up
From the Main Menu
- 1. Press 9 - Personal Options
- 2. Press 5 Call Routing
- 3. Press 1 Configure Zero Transfer
Configure Custom
Interest Rate
From the Main Menu
- 1. Press 8 Manage Your Survey
- 2. Press 6 Configure Custom Interest
Rate
- 3. Enter the new interest rate using basic
points followed by #
Retrieving a Call Detail Via the Internet
To view or download your calls over the electronically:
- 1. Access the Arch website at www.archtelecom.com
- 2. Click on the link: Online Reports
- 3. Click on the link: Home Affordability
- 4. Input your account information and click
the Get Report button
Request Fax of New Responses
From the Main Menu
- 1. Press 8 Manage Your Survey
- 2. Press 7 Receive a Fax of Your New
Calls
- 3. Enter the 10 digit fax number where you
would like your report sent
Retrieve Recorded Messages
For calls where the caller left a voice response
indicated by a Y in the V column (the second
column) on the call detail fax you may request the recorded question
response by:
From the Main Menu
- 1. Press 8 Manage Your Survey
- 2. Press 1 Retrieve Recorded Responses
- 3. Enter the response number you want to listen
to followed by #
- 4. Currently question 34 is the only recorded
question which requires a voice response.
Question 34: After
the tone, please record your name, address, and telephone number,
then press the # sign.
Request Other Information By Fax
From the Main Menu
- 1. Press 8 Manage Your Survey
- 2. Press 8 Request other information
by fax
Record Custom Question Prompts
IMPORTANT:
The Home Affordability Line allows you to record your own voice
over any of the standard stock recorded questions. You
must maintain the integrity of the questionthe custom recorded
question must solicit the same answer that would have resulted from
the stock question. The systems algorithm formulates
responses based upon the sequence of
scripted answers. If you would like to change the questions so the
responses vary from the stock recorded questions, please call Arch
Telecom. Customized set up fees may apply.
From the Main Menu
- 1. Press 8 Manage Your Survey
- 2. Press 2 Record Custom Question Prompts
- 3. Press 2 - To Record A Question Prompt
- 4. Enter the desired question number followed
by #
Question#
Stock prompt 40 Thank you for calling the Home Affordability
info line. This service provides you with the approximate amount
of home that you can afford based on your current savings and income.
- 1 You will need to know your gross monthly
income, the amount of your monthly debt payments, and the approximate
amount of money you will be able to use for
a down payment and closing costs. If you have these figures handy,
press 1 otherwise press 2.
- 2 Please call back when you have the
necessary information.
- 3 Please enter your monthly gross income
in dollars, followed by the # sign.
- 4 If you are currently a homeowner,
press 1. If not, press 2.
- 5 Enter the total dollar amount of your
existing monthly debt payments, followed by the # sign. This should
include credit cards, car payments, and student loans, but should
not include your current rent, mortgage payments, or any other
debt which will be completely paid within 1 year.
- 6 Enter the amount you will be able
to use for a down payment and closing costs, followed by the #
sign.
- 7 For a 30-year loan, press 1. For 15-year
loan, press 2.
- 8 To calculate with a 5% down payment,
press 1. To calculate with a 10% down payment, press 2. To calculate
with a 20% down payment, press 3.
- 11 Based on your entries, the maximum
home purchase price you qualify for is
- 12 After down payment and closing costs
of
- 13 The loan amount would be
- 14 Based on current rates and the loan
term you selected, the monthly principal and interest payment
would be
- 21 Based solely on your income, you
qualify for a home purchase price of
- 22 However, considering your available
cash and down payment percent specified, you would need an additional
- 23 to purchase a home of that price.
- 24 Based on your available cash and
the specified down payment percent, the maximum home price you
qualify for is
- 25 After down payment and closing costs
of
- 26 The loan amount would be
- 27 Based on current rates and the loan
term you selected, the monthly principal and interest payment
would be
- 31 This figure does not include taxes,
homeowners insurance, or mortgage insurance.
- 32 This result is only an approximation
provided as a courtesy to enable homebuyers to target their home
search to an appropriate price range. A complete answer can only
be provided through a complete review of your particular circumstances
by one of our loan officers.
- 33 To be immediately transferred to
our office to speak with a loan officer, press 0. To repeat the
results, press 1. If you would like to leave a message and have
a
loan officer call you back, press 2. To end this call, press 3.
- 34 After the tone, please record your
name, address, and telephone number, then press the # sign.
- 35 Thank you. Your information has been
recorded, and you should hear from a loan officer within 1 business
day.
